East Africa Storage Terminal ensures, as far as possible, that outbreaks of fire do not occur. If an outbreak cannot be prevented it must be rapidly detected, effectively contained, and quickly extinguished without risk to staff, partners, customers, or visitors.

East Africa Storage Terminal adopts a managed risk approach to fire safety. Fundamental to a managed risk approach is robust and verifiable processes, which include but are not limited to:
